Tom Moses joined JLT Condor as an under 23 rider and has become a stable and dependable rider. In 2014 and 2015, Moses, from Yorkshire took a number of brilliant early season wins and eventually gaining selection for Team England at the Commonwealth Games, where he was only denied a top-five finish by a late puncture.
Highlights of Moses time in the squad include a brilliant stage one win at the Tour of Normandy, where the twenty-two year old also held the race leaders yellow jersey for four of the eight days.
In wet and windy conditions that the Yorkshireman professes to dislike, Moses broke clear of the bunch with 15km to go and scored a memorable solo win over 30 seconds ahead of the chasing peloton. He then went on to be one of the top performers in the country in April and May, winning the UCI ranked East Midlands CiCLE Classic in April, before narrowly missing out on another big domestic win at the Lincoln GP.
Moses is a well-rounded rider who performs well in tough conditions and longer one-day events. In 2016 he is expected to be one of the team’s protected riders and should be regarded as a potential winner in any of the teams domestic and international races in the early part of the season.
