Condor bicycles have been ridden to World Championship gold medals, ridden in the Tour de France, and have been the choice of many figures in the public limelight, ranging from judges to rock stars. Few brands can claim to have their bikes ridden by cycling household names including Tom Simpson and Bradley Wiggins.
2018 will mark the eleventh season in a row that Condor has sponsored a British UCI registered team and the partnership with JLT will underline the team’s significant commitment to the future of British cycling, with the team continuing to focus on its overarching goal of developing young British talent.
Grant Young director of Condor Cycles re-iterated his support of young talented British riders and the domestic racing. Both activities have been part of Condor Cycles key values since the company’s inception in 1948
“This team is a great foundation for young riders to gain experience on an international stage and it is great that Condor is able to continue to contribute to British cycle sport.”
“The team will remain a testing and proving ground for our new technologies and bicycle models, our Super Acciaio and new Leggero SL model are direct result of rider-based research.”
Condor makes its framesets by hand at their facility in Italy. Condor retails both bicycles and framesets and has stockists in Britain, Europe, Canada and Asia.
