Tom Moses sprinted home to win stage two of the Tour of the Reservoir, to complete a fine weekend of racing at the opening round of the HSBC UK | Grand Prix Series.
Moses has been playing the role of super domestique in recent high profile races, including the Tour of Korea. This weekend he took his moment to shine with a superbly timed attacked at 3km to go. The Yorkshire based rider put his head down and drove for the line to claim a solo to victory ahead of a dimished breakaway group.
Ian Bibby crossed the line in second to give JLT Condor a 1-2 on day two of the Tour of the Reservoir.
The result puts Ian Bibby into the lead at the British Cycling GP Series, which continues Sunday 16 July with the Stockturn GP.
Bibby has a 1 point lead, just one clear of Stewart – while Dexter, Domagalski and Moses complete the top five after a consistent weekend.
Attention now turns to Velothon Wales (UCI 1.1) this Sunday and build up to the National Circuit Championships on 19th July in Sheffield.
