Just 48 hours after this win at the Milk Race, Kristian House scored his second victory of the week; this time at round 4 of the Tour Series hosted by Motherwell, Scotland.
The racing was fast from the gun and after just fifteen minutes the vicious hill and aggressive pace saw the peloton strung out under the pressure.
Kristian House, Chris Opie and Mike Northey saw the opportunity to make their move and slip away to form an early break. The trio worked well together to establish a gap over the hungry bunch and despite attempts from teams who missed out on the break the escapees were able to build up a solid gap over the field.
With three laps to go, Northey attacked but his solo attempt was short lived and the trio were soon back together. Kristian saw the opportunity to counter the move and attacked. His efforts saw him quickly pull away from his breakaway companions.
House dug in on remaining two laps ensuring he crossed the line to take a brilliant solo victory in Motherwell.
Ed Clancy took victory in the fastest lap competition on Round 4.
